This lovely house is in Kumbahçe and was opened to public visit in 2000. Zeki Müren’s belongings, photos, costumes, and records are exhibited in that museum. While looking his paintings on the wall and noticing the names that he gave to them, once more I realised how his feelings are hidden inside his songs and artworks. I stepped back and tried to imagine what he had been through. The way of giving expression to his feelings inspired me and made me feel grateful to him. I am leaving my words to photos with recommending you to spare time for this lovely house-museum when you visit Bodrum.
A little note for Aegean aficionados: you can watch the spectacular view from sitting on the bench across the garden!
