Adem Abi. People called him garip (poor-fellow). He stood on his own feet thanks to his labor in İskilip in Çorum. He didn’t talk too much. Nobody knows his story very well, now he is gone and these lines of the master perhaps describe him the best:

“You became a bird in the sky, you couldn't fly

You became a river, a stream, you couldn't flood

You became a child in the streets, you didn't play

You were born and grew up but you didn't live.”
